Just received our newly designed Kanto AV shelf. I must say they have done an excellent job with the redesign!All parts are quality made now!! Love that they did away with the plastic covers that hide the wires. We have the old model AVT 3 in our spare room and the covers Do Not Stay On! the clips have broken its still a mess! The new Kanto shelf has heavy duty aluminum covers, that will fix the problem with covers unsnapping. I will share a photo in the coming weeks when we have all our components hooked up. You will also appreciate how the parts come neatly organized in their own boxes not just thrown in a bag to have you try to figure out what goes to what! Hey Kanto! How would you like to swap out our other one??? Really they are an excellent company as far as service too. Friendly and someone actually answers the phone ! We have had to order clips and they sent them for free. Picture to come soon. TomThis is one of the best wall mount shelving units I have installed. Instructions were readable and packaging was very organized. Kanto in my opinion is more than a step above the others in quality and construction. this unit was mounted to a block wall, I used my own 5/16" tapcon bolts, one at top and one at bottom, made sure it was level. Attached the glass shelves and leveled them also. Set the stereo on the top shelf and it was solid.Very solid construction, eazy to hang. I needed a longer wire management mount. This was the only one that I found that fit my length needs. Everything else on Amazon and outside that I found would have been too short and exposed too much of the power cord.To amend a few years later. I needed to hang another TV in the house and needed another shell. I bought two more of them!Highly recommend these shelves.Sturdy and Fits all my equipment - Nice looking unit.This product is really well made and designed for flexibility. Instructions and packaging are really well done. Easy to install and the adjustable shelf height lets you create the appearance you want. FYI, we bought the AVT3 with three shelves but only used 2 wall mounts so the install and look becomes more compact. End result looks great. Another plus is the company answers its phone and is very helpful. Good luck getting Mount-It! people on the phone, for example.
